🔒 Program Description

The Finish Your Dissertation Institute is a 6-month, high-expectation program designed for doctoral students who are committed to completing their dissertation. As a member, you will receive access to:

  • Weekly Planning Sessions
  • Write With Us (Co-Writing) Sessions
  • Monthly 10 Pages in 2 Days Writing Retreat
  • Midweek Q&A Calls
  • Community Access in Circle
  • Scholar Tools and Templates
  • Progress Check-Ins from the FYD Team

This program is rigorous and action-focused. It is designed for students who are ready to be challenged, not coddled.

⏳ Program Duration and Renewal

Your FYD access begins on the date of enrollment and lasts for 6 months.
 You will receive a reminder via email 30 days before your access ends.
 If you wish to continue in the program, you must re-enroll.

There is no auto-renewal.

💳 Payment Terms

  • Tuition is $1,500, due in full at the time of enrollment
  • Payment is non-transferable
  • Private coaching is not included in this agreement and must be purchased separately

🔁 Commitment and Refund Policy

Enrollment in FYD represents your full commitment to academic progress. Before enrolling, please make sure you are ready to participate consistently and meet the demands of the program.

You may request a prorated refund of $1,250 between Day 30 and Day 60 of your enrollment only if you provide evidence that you have actively participated in the program. No refunds will be issued after Day 60.

To be eligible for a refund, you must submit proof of the following:

  • A clearly written monthly goal
  • Four completed weekly plans and evaluations
  • Attendance at four weekly planning or writing sessions
  • Four communications with your dissertation chair (emails or meetings)
  • A dissertation draft submitted to your chair or committee after joining FYD

All approved refunds will be issued at $1,250. The remaining $250 covers administrative and program access costs.

📌 Expectations and Community Guidelines

All participants are expected to:

  • Attend sessions or engage with replays regularly
  • Contribute positively and respectfully to the FYD community
  • Take responsibility for their own progress
  • Treat fellow scholars, FYD staff, and the platform with professionalism

We reserve the right to remove participants from the program at any time for conduct that violates these expectations or disrupts the learning environment. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

  • Results will vary depending on your effort, participation, and application of program materials
  • The program does not make decisions or speak on behalf of your academic institution, advisor, or committee

You consent to the use of screenshots, video recordings, written comments, and other materials you may share in FYD sessions, workshops, or community spaces for future marketing, promotional, and educational use.
